This client came to us with a previously created WordPress site using Visual Composer. This plugin can be useful for developers, but difficult for clients to figure out. We re-created the theme as a custom theme built off of the pixelpandas-bootstrap responsive theme, removing the need for Visual Composer as well as numerous other plugins, replaced with cleaner, custom code.
